I feel like I'm in a dream

Guys I feel like I'm in a dream. This area is unreal. I can't believe how busy we are. I can't believe how much I love everyone. I can't believe how incredible my companion is. I am so BLESSED!

I have never been so busy. We're working at meeting the whole ward. They are all so welcoming and willing to help us in any way possible. I love it!

We have had some incredible finding opportunities this week. We have been praying a ton for the Lord to place people in our paths who are prepared to hear the gospel. Well the Lord provides because we we able to find FOUR new investigators this week! He totally answers prayers, guys.

The weather is amazing..it's getting more and more green every day...
The only thing I could live without here in Alaska is the mosquitoes in the summer. Seriously they are evil...and massive! People here call them the Alaska state bird. But I've been practicing and I've mastered killing them with one hand. I think that means I'm a true Alaskan now. :)

Sister Torgesen are getting around but are still working on figuring out the streets in the area. I think we're just now getting past the stage where you accidentally switch the street name with the peoples names. I'll say "Hey sister lets head to go see the Crestview family on Harrison street" And I see her scanning the the map...."I can't find Harrison street...Wait who are the Crestviews?" And then we'll both realize. Hahahaha yeah it's embarrassing but also hilarious.

The gospel is true! I love it will all my heart! I love our Prophet Thomas S. Monson, I am so grateful for the inspiration has to lead and guide the church today. I feel so blessed to have the full restored gospel in my life. I love you all so much! Have  happy week!

Love, Sister Hallmark
Found this the other day...look at the sticker and the picture. Someone has a sense of humor...hahaha

Baking cookies at the mission home! :)

Sister Torgesen have this game where we hide the toilet paper in a random place every time we're in there and I walked in to this the other night....bravo, sister. She won.

A whole new world!

I LOVE MY NEW AREA AND MY NEW COMPANION AND EVERYTHING! Guys, Eagle River is the greatest. Okay, I know I said I was going to Chugiak, but I was confused. Chugiak is like a suburb of Eagle River or something...I'm still not really sure. But we are in Eagle River. It's BEAUTIFUL here. And the ward is so so so so so amazing. They are so excited to have us here, and we are excited that THEY are excited. :) We are working really hard because there really hasn't been a lot of missionary work done here. Our first sunday here they called a new bishop!!!! Crazy! Lots of things are happening here. The new bishop seems so awesome, we are really excited to work with him. Although we just got to know the old bishop and we liked him too...we had no idea they'd switch it up!

We have already seen miracles!!! People who haven't opened the door in years to church members have let us in and have softened their hearts. We are constantly praying we will find people prepared for us here in this ward. The ward is completely behind us! What a great feeling! We've had some funny experiences too this week. We stopped at an old man's house who is extremely less active in the ward he said he was cutting his grass so we asked when we could come back and he told us to come back in 20 years. Haha! We decided we'll come back next week and bring him cookies :) Hopefully the Lord will soften his heart. :)

Well everyone, I love you all! Have a great week!

Goodebye Fairbanks!

Hi everyone! Transfers came! After 6 months here in Zion I'm getting transferred. I am sad but so excited. I'm going to Chugiak! It's a little place about 30 minutes outside of anchorage. I am looking forward to it because this ward we're going to has never had sisters before! We get to be the first ones! And I know the sister I will be companions with and I am so excited, she is awesome. I can't wait!

It's been lots of goodbyes this week but I know I will always keep these people in my heart! They are amazing! I have learned so much here.

I am leaving now to drive out, I have to go! Love you all!!!!

"Just call us the Travelin Sistas"

Hello! Don't have a lot of time today! We had an awesome trip to Anchorage and got to go through the temple! I LOVE THE TEMPLE! It makes me so happy. It brought me so much peace and comfort.

We learned so much during our two day meeting. I loved being surrounded by so many powerful missionaries and being strengthened by their testimonies.

I AM SO EXCITED FOR MOTHERS DAY! I can't wait to see my families faces. :)

I love you all so much!!!!!!!

Have an incredible week! The church is true!
