Hello!

Hello everyone!

This week's  blog post will be short. I'm doing swell. Just meeting all the awesome members. I love Juneau so much, it's been a blast meeting all the people. Our ward is the biggest ward I have ever seen. There are 800 members!!!!! It's the "multicultural" ward so we have all kinds of  people. It's really special to learn about all the different cultures and people. Everyone is so warm and loving. This week was the primary program and it just MELTED my heart!!! I love children!!!

Okay I have to run, I love you all so much! Have a great week!

From island to island

Hello from Juneau!

I am loving it here!!! The ward is incredible, seriously yesterday in church people came RUNNING to us and hugging us and asking if we were staying in the ward. Everyone is SO excited to have sisters. We got pulled aside from not only our bishop, but from the 2nd ward bishop AND the ysa branch president to give us names of people they wanted us to see. So crazy...We are sharing a ward with the zone leaders so that will be fun. There is just so much work to do here. I can't wait to see how this whole transfer will pan out. It's crazy to come from the tiniest ward in Sitka where there's about 40 people give or take every Sunday to our ward here in Juneau. IT IS HUGE. I was shocked. They are building a new chapel here in Juneau and there are rumors that our ward will be splitting off, so we'll see what happens.

We had zone conference this whole last week, it was so fun. We spent the whole time with president and sister Beasley and all the elders from the different surrounding islands. It's an interesting situation; we don't ever get to see our zone because we're all spread out. So it was really fun to get together and get to know everyone. We even had a little Christmas program because we won't all be together for Christmas. They decorated it all cute and Christmassy and we had a nice ham and potato dinner. They we had a little play. It was SO fun.

I am really excited to see how Christmas is here in the mission. I think it will be the cutest little place. All snowy and white. :)

Something that is funny is that sister Whitby, the new elder in the ward, and I are all from Texas. So when we all go to dinner someone asks "where are you all from?" we all just laugh and say in unison "Texas." It's fun to talk to people who actually know what brisket, Texas heat, and cowboy boots are. :)

I don't have much else to talk about; we haven't really met with any investigators yet, so I will update you all on that next week. So far, all is well. The change is good. Love you all so much! My testimony grows each day!

Have a good week!
