Hello hello hello!

It's just another week in Fairbanks town. It's going good. We have had some pretty incredible finding experiences. I complimented this girl on her hair in the gas station and suddenly we have her number and she's coming to church! Crazy how the Lord is really putting people in our paths. I can't let a single person walk by without sharing this truth that I know. There are people prepared to hear EVERYWHERE. :)

Atrina is still prepared to get baptized on the 29th of March. :) We are so excited for her! She is so excited to get baptized. Every time she prays she says "please help my baptism go good." Haha so cute.

GUYS I'M FREAKING OUT! ! I hit my 9 months this week! Well...kind of. Feb. 29th was supposed to be my 9 months, but that day doesn't really exist so...we counted it on the 1st of March. Haha I cannot believe I am halfway through with my mission. It's unreal. I don't want it to end!!!

OH I have news!!!! I don't know if anyone remembers Toby from Sitka? We taught him and he was SO beyond prepared to be baptized! He wasn't able to be though because there are some things that were holding him back and he needed to get an approval from the first presidency... well...HE GOT A SIGNED LETTER FROM THEM! AND HE GOT BAPTIZED!!!!!!!!!! He sent me pictures and I DIED. SO awesome. He is doing so so so well. He is a ward missionary. :)

Man I love life!!! I love this gospel! I know it can bring the most happiness anyone could ever experience!!!

Double Trouble

Double the wards, double the work, double the miracles! Hello! This week has been a whirlwind. Two huge wards is A LOT of work. But too much work is probably a good problem to have. :)

I am so happy to still be serving in 2nd ward. And I LOVE 5th ward already! So many incredible people we are blessed to be working with. :)

It's SO fun to have sister Hewitt as a companion again. She seriously reminds me so much of Darci, it's crazy. We just laugh at everything. We are so goofy together. Sister Platero adds well to the companionship. Sometimes she has to calm us down, haha. We are just having a blast together.

Last night we went to visit this family in the 5th ward and they have a cute little 3 year old girl. We kept saying to her "hey, you're cute!" and finally she yelled "NO, YOURE CUTE!" It was the funniest thing. Then as we left she said "bye pretty girls!" Hahaha

We are just working like crazy. This week has basically been trying to figure out the balance between both wards. It's a process. :) I have been learning so much from my two incredible companions and I am so happy the Lord has called me to serve with them in this area at this time. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY! This church is just the best. :)

Love you all so so so much! Thanks for all the love and support. I love letters!

My current address is 1630 Washington Dr, Fairbanks AK 99709 :)

LOVE YOU ALL! Love, Sister Hallmark

I'm Melting!!!!!!

Okay, it's still like like -2 outside, but it's warming up! And the SUN IS OUT! It starts rising at like 8! SO EXCITING! It gives a little warmth, which is always appreciated.

GUYS! We got out transfer calls and I am companions again with sister Hewitt, my companion in SITKA!!!!! I am so excited!!!! We are in a trio and we have a 3rd companion, Sister Platero! We are leaving YSA here, but I am staying in Fairbanks 2nd ward and we will also be covering 5th ward as well. SO much work! We will be so busy, I can't wait!!!! Also, we are sister training leaders here in Fairbanks. I'm pretty excited, but also nervous about that. Ahhhh!!!!

This week has been good, these last few days have been spent trying to visit and say our goodbyes to some YSA and preparing everything for the elders coming in.Transfers always bring a little stress. I've been trying to figure everything out in my head and how it will all work out. Yesterday morning I was praying really hard about finding peace with transfers and as I was reading in 3 Nephi 13 and I came across verse 32 "For your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things." and then in 34 "Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself." I felt so much peace. I thought by saying "yes, I will go and serve where you ask" that I was was being humble and submitting my will to the Lord, but I realized that if I was stressing about it that I wasn't fully trusting him or submitting my will. That was a huge realization for me. I know Heavenly Father knows exactly what I need. :)

I love being a missionary with my entire being. I can't imagine being anything else. I've never felt so close to my Savior. I KNOW that he lives. I know that he loves me. I know that I will see him again. :)

I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! KEEP BEING AWESOME! AND WRITE ME A LETTER SOMETIME!

Just another week in Fairbanks town"

We had some pretty incredible lessons this week! So many people I have grown to love so deeply. It's the most incredible experience to see a less active you've been working with show up to church on Sunday. I get so excited!!! We were also able to teach young womens yesterday in the family ward we're also covering. It was so fun! I miss young womens! The spirit was so strong. I also spoke in sacrament about missionary work. My dad and brother would be so proud, I used a ton of football analogy's :)  I have grown to love that family ward SO MUCH. I love covering both that ward and the YSA.

Last night we had a Superbowl feast! Minus the actual game. The house was FULL of kids and it was so  much fun. There was one little 4 year old girl who was cracking me up the entire time. One of my favorite quotes was when her dad asked "Lucy, tell the sisters about how you want to be a missionary when you grow up!" And she said "Dad, I was just kidding about that. When I grow up all I want to be in a mommy." I thought it was the cutest thing ever! I tried to convince her that she can be both, but she seems to be convinced it's not true. :)

I know this church is true. I love being a missionary. I can't believe how much my testimony has grown. I can't imagine being anything OTHER than a missionary! It's become who I am. :)

I love you all! Have a great week!
